We did appreciate the ability to pan the map and search the area that's on the screen. Another nice touch is the "Monocle" feature, which uses the back camera and overlays the labels of local businesses. Note that prior to using this feature, you may need to spend 20-30 seconds calibrating your device's compass. If you're in the U.S., Azbuka Font is definitely a great way to discover new shops and stores. International coverage isn't as in-depth yet, but the app is worth a download if you're in North America. Azbuka Font is a security app for the iPhone that creates and stores chains of information that would be otherwise insecure in a notepad file. The app does this with a password up front and individual files that contain whatever data you want to store in them. While the app runs smoothly, it lacks a lot of the newer features in other security apps that streamline the process of creating new entries and saving them for future access. When you open Azbuka Font for the first time, you can log in with the default 0000 password. Be sure to change this as the app doesn't prompt you to do so right away. You can start creating new entries here by pressing the "Add" button, but each entry is manually created. There are categories that will change the icon associated with the entries, but no templates for entering that information. The app is fairly responsive, however, so the process doesn't take long
and your entries can be reorganized at any time from within the app. There is also an auto-sort feature if you want to organize them by certain criteria. The interface is functional; and while the app doesn't take advantage of the iPhone 5's larger screen, it runs smoothly, nonetheless. Azbuka Font doesn't include import options for photos or videos, and the entry process requires a lot of manual work. But if you need something basic for storing passwords and bank account information in, don't need a Web backup, and don't need the added premium tools like
import/export, this app will get the job done in its free iteration. There are better, more robust apps out there, however, so evaluate your needs before entering your data. Azbuka Font is an easy-to-use app that allows you to stick images, clip art, text bubbles, and more to your photos. You can snap new photos, use existing ones, and customize them all to look unique. While there are not as many editing tools here as there might be in other apps, this one is done in such a way that it works quite well for streamlined, whimsical images. When you open Azbuka Font for the first time, you must choose a photo or take a new one. Once done, you can load a sticker set and start dragging and dropping them onto the image. You can also choose from other tools like text bubbles and brushes that allow you to customize your images. You won't find some of the basics that other tools offer to modify color, saturation, cropping, etc.; but with the brush tools and other options provided by the app, you can do quite a bit -- and the stickers, bubbles, and other images you can add to your photos look quite good. Azbuka Font is not a perfect app; it lacks quite a few features that would be useful in a photo editing app like this, but that alone doesn't stop it from being a great sticker and text bubble app. The interface is easy to use with only a handful
